Embedded in the Olympic Park ensemble in Munich, the new Small Olympic Hall is barely visible from the outside. Renovation was completed at the end of September 2011, offering the complex an exciting new venue. The new Small Olympic Hall has the capacity to seat 3600 for sports events, small concerts or corporate presentations. This makes for a more intimate atmosphere compared with the old Small Hall, which seated 15,000.

Lighting for all weathers
The esplanade in Les Sables d'Olonne has been renovated to reduce automobile traffic and encourage pedestrians to use it more. This also includes the lighting, which has been designed to create a nocturnal identity for the space when seen from the land or the sea. The project was completed in summer 2011.

IALD Launches Survey on New Lighting Certification
The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) has convened a credentialing task force to assess the prospective domains of practice and qualifications for an international architectural lighting design certification. This assessment will be conducted via an online survey and is a key component of the task force's efforts.
